In 2003, I left my job and started looking for a better one. I wasn't quite happy working for a corporation and I wasn't the employee of the month either. However, after a series of coincidences, I end up with a brand new laptop waiting for a long bus ride to a resort near the Mediterranean Sea.
As Domino v10 launch time approaching, great ideas are being accumulated in product ideas forum. If you have not contributed in yet, it's not too late. Vote some ideas and even better, add yours and advertise them to get more vote.
Just a quick question.
Especially large domains have lots of users with the same full name. In modern directory systems, we can decrease the possibility of conflict by using hierarchical naming, however that will become an issue eventually, when you need to specify an e-mail address. I have seen that adding a number to the first or last name (John Smith , John 1 Smith, etc.) is highly popular.
How do you handle people with the same name in your environment (e.g. Domino, AD, Connections, etc.)?

Yesterday, I have blogged about the renewal of my IBM Champion title.
This morning I woke up with lots of notifications on my mobile. Apparently, my dear friend Bruce liked my blog post very much and he has posted it everywhere (Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin Google Plus). The real surprise was on PlanetLotus waiting for me :)
Before writing this post I tried to remember when I have met Bruce for the first time. It was just 2.5 years ago when I received a twitter DM from him. I was at an airport in Germany waiting the boarding time. I remember had a short discussion over Skype.
2.5 years? Really? I feel like I know Bruce for decades.
I've been in UKLUG lately. I heard lots of discussions about test platform for IBM Connections.
People who wants to implement new deployments, develop and test widgets or customize user interface, all need to install Connections.
So I just wanted to blog about my test platform. I'm currently doing some Connections business and my customers are expecting UI customization, error trapping, configuration changes, etc. Therefore, I have installed a full Connections image on my computer.
IBM finally decided to announce that the last major yellow word in the community has changed... Lotusphere event has been renamed as "IBM Connect" and Lotusphere has become a sub-event or so now.
Six weeks passed since my last post...
I have worked on XSnippets (OpenSearch support), xInvolve (Version 2.0 released) and a new OpenNTF project named VeryShort...
Not much time left for blogging. I'll make up for it :)

I am blogging for more than two years. It's like a part-time job. I am doing this sacrificing my 'life' and 'time'. Many people attribute me and this is a great pleasure...
But sharing my ideas or knowledge on the WEB doesn't mean that people can steal them 'COMPLETELY ' without my approval even with an attribution !
