I was looking at my profile page at PlanetLotus.org, which directs 1/3 of visits to my blog.
I noticed an interesting pattern here. Some of my posts are getting good hits from PlanetLotus visitors. Marie L. Scott of CrashTestChix blog has pointed this last year at her post: "Top 15 Ways to Get Noticed on Planet Lotus".
Last week, Ed Brill announced the expected shift in Express licensing. IBM lifted all major limitations (except the user count) from Express Licensing.
In fact, this is a major discount for some companies under 1000 seats.
In his LUGTR 2011 speech, Ed also informed us that license agreement will be simplified as the next release... That was an ongoing issue for sometime as I posted before.
A second suggestion to IBM. They should acquire Snapps. At least, Rob Novak should be included in a payroll :)
I think that this fantastic team has leveraged the market value of Lotus Quickr up to another level...
Today, I am starting a new topic...
IBM has an 'excellent' strategy based on acquisitions. This strategy provides a fast growing product portfolio. If you have enough financial power and ability to govern different companies under a large umbrella, 'Growth by Acquisition' would be a great strategy in this market...
I really don't know what to do about it. I asked some IBMers and did not get any answer. So if you know something, please alert me and end my pain :)

Stuart McIntyre blogged about a published whitepaper last week. He also stated that it is dated back to 9th November. It is a shame we missed it.
