I posted an entry a couple of weeks ago about my custom control for the OpenNTF Contest...

I have upgraded xInvolve with commenting ability.

New version 1.10 provides a customizable interface for rating and commenting about documents (or other elements based on a unique identifier) for non-anonymous users. Here are some screen shots...

@Adel,

Thank you using my control.

In fact I didn't think such a feature but it seems very reasonable.

I'll update my control soon, to implement some ext.lib. features to get rid of some hackings around dojo... However, it's a very busy period for me.

You will see two divs inside the custom control: ratingPanel and commentPanel. You may define two properties and set those div's rendered properties according to the properties. It should work in theory. Just in case, you set 'commentDisplayMode' as 'DisplayCountOnly' if you will hide comments; because I'm loading some javascripts otherwise.

I will implement your suggestion, but don't know when :)

Hope it helps.

Hi,

This XPages control looks very cool, I've downloaded the latest version on OpenNTF.

I just have a question: how can we hide the comments? I would like to have the option to have only the rating and no comment or even vice-versa no rating but comment.

I look forward hearing from you.

Best regards
