There is no Apple in Turkey (!)

We always talk about vendor's marketing strategies, localization failures, etc...

Apple does not have an active local office in Turkey. They formed a local team very recently...

Many Apple products do not support Turkish language natively. For example, ipad did not have Turkish character support before the latest OS update.

AppStore has many restrictions for Turkish customers.

Apple does not market its products actively and independently. No ads!

So what? Today I was tweeting with a friend from an mobility industry. According to their estimations, there are 700.000 (seven hundred thousand!) iPhones on the market.

It's huge!

(According to stats, last year 16 million phones have been sold...)
